Hockey Fights Cancer

1/17/2020

7:15 PM

The River Dell Ice Hockey team is honored in welcoming you to join us for our first ever "Hockey Fights Cancer" night on Friday, January 17th against Sparta at 7:15pm at the Ice House in Hackensack.

Hockey Fights Cancer unites the hockey community in support of cancer patients and their families. This cancer awareness game will celebrate cancer survivors and raise funds for donation to the American Cancer Society's mission to save lives from cancer.
Any student (K-12) that shows up in any River Dell, Westwood, Emerson or NHL apparel will be entered into a FREE raffle to win 2 Devils tickets and a parking pass to a future game.

At the game, we will be offering multiple things:
• A 50/50 Raffle
• Wall of Hope
• Merchandise Sale (Mugs and T-Shirts)

We are also running a fundraiser for a great cause. With this fundraiser, our donation goal is $1,000. When you go to donate, click on a player’s name that you want to donate the money under. We are having a competition to see which player can raise the most money. https://charity.gofundme.com/o/en/campaign/riverdell-hawks-hockey-team

You can share the donation link to anyone, it will be going to a great cause! The fundraiser will be open till Thursday, January 30th.
If you’d like to take part in our “Wall of Hope”, you can easily do so. Below is the link to our online form to fill out the question:
What do you fight for?

You can answer it with a name of someone you know that has survived cancer, fighting cancer, or for those you have lost. You do not have to share names, if it makes you feel more comfortable you may put your relation. If you don’t know anyone personally, you may say “a cure” or anything else you fight for. You can share the online form to family and friends. We would love to have as many submissions as we can! https://form.jotform.com/93414933158158
