FUN WITH ART! (1ST - 6TH GRADE) - Does your child love art? Have them join art teachers Ann and John Monton where they will learn how to draw step by step cartoons, landscapes, and animals! They will work with watercolors, pencil, and pastels. This 10 week program will be meeting once a week on Wednesdays from 4-5pm in the Senior Center from 10/12 - 12/14/22 .

Program Fee = $210 for the first child (includes all materials) & $200 each additional Family Registrant.
There will be a maximum of 15 spots for this program. Registration will open on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 9:00am and close on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 11:00pm for Township of Washington Residents only. 

If the maximum is not met by September 23rd, the program will then be open to non-residents for an additional $25 out-of-town fee. Once the maximum number of 15 registrants is met, a waitlist will be created through the last day of registration.

WRESTLING - The Westwood Junior Wrestling Program is open to boys and girls in grades 1-8 who reside in either Westwood or Twp. of Washington. Practices will be held during the week beginning in December. Matches and tournaments held weekends in January and February. Westwood resident fee: $85; Twp. of Washington fee: $110. There is also a $50 deposit for singlet at time of handout for all participants. Register online via Community Pass September 6 - October 28. https://register.communitypass.net/westwood

TEEN CENTER OPENING NIGHT OCTOBER 7th - Teen Center is available to all Westwood/Twp. of Washington residents in Grades 6-8 at no cost. Basketball, ping-pong, billiards and air hockey are just some of the available activities on Friday nights from 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm at the Westwood Community Center. INTRO TO CHEER (K-1ST GRADE)!  - Community Pass Registration OPENS 6/01/22
K-1 Cheer Registration will be open on Community Pass for all Township and Westwood children entering Kindergarten and 1st grade in Sept. beginning 6/1-7/1.This program will run from 8/13-10/1. There will be a Parents Meeting on June 11th in the Township Senior Center at 10:30 am. CARDINAL CHEERLEADING Cardinal Youth Rec Cheerleading Registration Information (programs for 2nd thru 8th grade) - these programs are open to Westwood & Township of Washington athletes. Registration will take place on Wednesday May 11, 2022 and Monday May 16, 2022 from 6:30 pm – 8:30 PM AT the Westwood Community Center, 55 Jefferson Ave. Westwood, NJ. CARDINAL FOOTBALL / Flag Football (Independent Program) - www.jrcardinalfootball.org - Registration for Twp. of Washington & Westwood residents is NOW OPEN at jrcardinalfootball.org.  Flag Football for grades K-2 - Tackle Football for grades 1-8. Last day to register is June 15th.  The cost for registration will be $250 for your first player, $200 for your second player. WT BASEBALL & SOFTBALL  (Independent Program) is offering a KICKBALL program for 2022 Season! This program is for age 4 (birth dates from 9/1/17- 8/31/18). It is designed to introduce kids to base running, team play and similar concepts of baseball & softball. The kids will have plenty of fun in the Spring! *Prorated refunds will be issued only during the first two (2) weeks of the program.  After the first two weeks of the program, registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.

REFUNDS:  There shall be a $25 per-registration refund fee.  Refunds shall only be issued if requested in writing within the first two weeks of a program and during the first week of Summer Recreation.  No refund will be issued for before and after care after the start of the program.  No refunds will be issued for Summer Recreation trips/excursions.

PASSING OF SCOTT SPEZIAL - We are deeply saddened to share that former councilman, and longtime coach of the Twp. of Washington Jr. Football League, Scott "Spez" Spezial passed away, February 26th, 2020 surrounded by his family. For a little more information on Scott's life and the impact he had on his community, please visit here. *Details on when and how our community will come together to honor the life and legacy of Scott will be shared when they become available.

SPECIAL NEEDS PROGRAM
The Special Needs Activity Program (SNAP) is open to residents of WT, WW and other neighboring BC municipalities. Families of children with various types of physical and cognitive limitations use the program to keep their children active and engaged with peers while learning new skills in a fun, supportive environment. The program strives to promote independence and improve the quality of life through athletic and arts programming and to create positive recreational and social experiences for children and young adults (ages 3-21) who have a physical or learning disability.  For more information, check out the SNAP program brochure. 2022-23 SNAP Program Brochure
