*Prorated refunds will be issued only during the first two (2) weeks of the program.  After the first two weeks of the program, registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.

REFUNDS:  There shall be a $25 per-registration refund fee.  Refunds shall only be issued if requested in writing within the first two weeks of a program and during the first week of Summer Recreation.  No refund will be issued for before and after care after the start of the program.  No refunds will be issued for Summer Recreation trips/excursions.

Non-Resident Participants.  In addition to each Program fee payable by a Participant as set forth above, with the exlusion of the Summer Rec program that has its own non-resident rates, each non -resident Participant shall be required to pay an additional fee of $25.00


FUN WITH ART  - WT Community Pass Registration - opens 2/3 - 2/24/23 Program begins 3/7 and runs through May
Do your children love art? Have them join art teachers Ann and John Monton where they will learn how to draw step by step cartoons, landscapes, and animals! they will work with watercolors, pencil, and pastels. This 10 week program will be meeting once a week on Tuesdays from 4pm - 5pm  in the Senior Center of the Township of Washington Town Hall from 3/7/23 – 5/16/23. (No class on Tuesday, April 4, 2023)

Program Fee = $210 for the first child (includes all materials) & $200 each additional Family Registrant (Max of 15 spots) 
Registration will open on Friday, 2/3/23 at 9am for Township of Washington residents only through Friday, 2/17/23.

If the maximum number of registrants is not met by Friday, February 17, the program will then be open to non-residents, also. There will be an additional $25 out of town fee for non-residents. Once the maximum number of 15 registrants is met, a waitlist will be created through the last day of registration, Friday, February 24, 2023.


BASKETBALL PROGRAMS FLYER - 2022-2023 - WT Community Pass Registration opens 10/6/23 & ends 10/27/23  
The program is designed to accommodate boys & girls in 1st – 8th grades. Township of Washington residents only.

The Intramural Program (Grades 3-8) Season starts in January. Practices are held during the week. Games are held on Saturdays. The times are to be determined. The Instructional Program Clinics (Grades 1-2) are held on Saturdays starting in January and ends the last Saturday in February. The times are to be determined.If you are interested in volunteering to coach, please contact Dan Scudieri via email:  A background check, for all volunteers 18 years of age and older, is required. WT BASEBALL & SOFTBALL  (Independent Program open to Township kids) is offering a KICKBALL program for 2023  Season! This program is for age 4 (birth dates from 9/1/18- 8/31/19). It is designed to introduce kids to base running, team play and similar concepts of baseball & softball. The kids will have plenty of fun in the Spring! Visit their website at for additional program information. *Softball, Baseball, and Kickball registration closes 1/31/23 - late fee assessed after 2/1/23.  *Opening Day is 4/22/2023 9:00 AM at Clark Field (Rain Date 4/23/23)

WRESTLING - (Independent Westwood Rec Program open to Township kids) The Westwood Junior Wrestling Program is open to boys and girls in grades 1-8 who reside in either Westwood or Twp. of Washington. Practices will be held during the week beginning in December. Matches and tournaments held weekends in January and February. Westwood resident fee: $85; Twp. of Washington fee: $110. There is also a $50 deposit for singlet at time of handout for all participants. Register online via WW Community Pass Sept. 6 - October 28.

CARDINAL CHEERLEADING (Independent Westwood Rec Program open to Township kidsCardinal Youth Rec Cheerleading Registration Information (programs for 2nd thru 8th grade) - these programs are open to Westwood & Township of Washington athletes. Registration will take place on Date TBA but usually early May 2023 at the Westwood Community Center, 55 Jefferson Ave. Westwood, NJ. Unfortunately, no late registrations accepted. (No Refunds After June 15th) Visit here for further information:  (Not through Community Pass)

CARDINAL FOOTBALL / Flag Football(Independent Westwood Rec Program open to Township kids) - - Registration for Twp. of Washington & Westwood residents usually opens in APRIL at  Flag Football for grades K-2 - Tackle Football for grades 1-8. Last day to register is June 15th.  The cost for registration will be $250 for your first player, $200 for your second player. TEEN CENTER  - Teen Center when open is available to all Westwood/Twp. of Washington residents in Grades 6-8 at no cost. Basketball, ping-pong, billiards and air hockey are just some of the available activities on Friday nights from 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm at the Westwood Community Center. PASSING OF SCOTT SPEZIAL - We are deeply saddened to share that former councilman, and longtime coach of the Twp. of Washington Jr. Football League, Scott "Spez" Spezial passed away, February 26th, 2020 surrounded by his family. For a little more information on Scott's life and the impact he had on his community, please visit here. *Details on when and how our community will come together to honor the life and legacy of Scott will be shared when they become available.

The Special Needs Activity Program (SNAP) is open to residents of WT, WW and other neighboring BC municipalities. Families of children with various types of physical and cognitive limitations use the program to keep their children active and engaged with peers while learning new skills in a fun, supportive environment.
