UPCOMING EVENTS - 2020 - The Golden Seniors of the Township of Washington are planning another happy, healthy, and fun-filled year in 2020.
The year started on a high note on Wednesday, January 15, with the group attending the award-winning movie 1917 at the Township Cinema followed by a wonderful sit-down four course-dinner at Lili’s Bistro.
On Wednesday, February 12, it was a trip to New York to see To Kill A Mockingbird.
Monday, March 16, is the annual Golden Seniors St. Patrick’s Party at Seasons.
Wednesday, March 18, is the Italian Feast of St. Joseph celebration at Doolan’s Shore Club in Spring Lake, NJ. $60.
Tuesday, April 14, it’s off to Mount Airy Casino for a buffet lunch and the Bill Haley & The Comets show. $55 includes $15 in slot money.
Sunday, April 19, is the Sister Act at the Papermill Playhouse. $56.
Thursday, May 14, is a visit to the Museum of Moving Images in Queens, NY, and lunch at the nearby Park Side Restaurant. $77.
Tuesday, May 19, is a return to Mount Airy Casino for a buffet lunch and the Sam Cooke Show $55 includes $15 in slot money.
Thursday, May 28, is lunch and show at the Hunterdon Hills Playhouse, I Left My Dignity In My Other Purse starring the witty Joyce DeWitt.
Tuesday, June 16, is the “monthly” trip to Mount Airy Casino for a buffet lunch and the musical tribute to Buddy Holly, That’ll Be The Day. $55 includes $15 in slot money.
Sunday, June 28, is back to the Papermill Playhouse to see The Wanderer. It is based on the life and music of Dion (DiMucci). Dion is the true link between Frank Sinatra and Rock and Roll. $56.
Friday, July 10, is “an evening” at the races…Monmouth Park Racetrack. Enjoy the races from a private room and a buffet style dinner in the beautiful Turf Club. It’s an evening affair…5:30–8:30.
October (Date TBD) is lunch at the Old ’76 House in Tappan, NY, followed by a guided tour of historic Nyack and Haverstraw.
Thursday, November 12, is a trip to the Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster, PA, to see the biblical show Queen Esther. After the show is a smorgasbord lunch at Shady Maple Restaurant.
December (Date TBD) is the Golden Seniors Christmas Party at Seasons.
