Swift 911 & E-Alert Sign Up

Swift911™ is a system that makes phone calls to specific people or areas in the event of an emergency or for sharing important information. All the calls you receive will have the Caller ID of 'Township of Washington' or 'Washington Township Police Department'. A confirmation email will be sent. (remember check your spam/junk email folder if you do not see it)

HOW WILL I RECEIVE THESE ALERTS?  Alerts or notifications from the Township will be sent by one or more of the following methods:

• A voice call to your home and / or mobile numbers
• A text message to your mobile phone
• An email to one or move addresses
• Residents using the Swift911™Publicmobile app will receive pushnotifications.

You can subscribe (or unsubscribe) to specific alert types and your information is always kept private and confidential. If you are not receiving these calls, please fill out the form below to add or update your contact information. You may also remove yourself from our lists.

In an effort to provide residents with up-to-date information on events, alerts, and notices, the Twp. of Washington provides an online e-mail subscription service. This free "E-Notice" package allows the administration and police department the ability to inform residents in a timely manner of such things as reminders for  upcoming town events, emergency alerts, & traffic situations to name a few.  For convenience, sign-up is quick and easy and offered in a variety of ways.
 

  • Enter your email address in the space provided on the Join Our Email List button below.
  • Text the word TOWNSHIP to 22828 which will then reply asking for your email address.
  • Email the site manager and request your email address be added to our e-notification list.

Please note that the emails collected will not be sold or released to any other outside agency. They will be used for the sole purpose as indicated above.  If at any time you no longer wish to subscribe, you may unsubscribe by clicking the link at the bottom of an email notice.
