CBH Care Announces Launch of Telehealth Mental Health Services During Covid-19

CBH Care is announcing that it has relocated its program personnel to remote therapy services or telehealth, in order to serve its consumers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization will continue to provide vital mental health services to youth and adults in need while ensuring the health and safety of all.

CBH is accepting new consumers in both its Out-Patient Department as well as its Early Intervention Support Services (EISS) crisis center located in Westwood. Audio and/or visual telehealth services and telephonic appointments are available in both programs.

CarePlus NJ Offering Telehealth Mental Health & Addiction Help Services During Covid-19

At CarePlus NJ, we understand the importance of social distancing while recognizing the need for social and emotional connection as well as clinical support.  We are excited to share our increased access to care via a secure, HIPAA-complaint telehealth platform.  Consumers may contact our Admission Department in Paramus at (201) 986-5000 to schedule a virtual intake for addiction and behavioral health services.  

Our telehealth solution is an easy-to-use application that can be accessed by a smart phone or laptop/computer with a webcam. CarePlus NJ accepts all major insurances and will ensure the telehealth service is covered by your plan prior to scheduling an intake. CHILD HEALTH CONFERENCE SHARED SERVICE 
Township of Washington / Hillsdale

 
The Child Health Conference provides well child services at no cost to children and adolescents who are uninsured or under-insured.  Services available at the Child Health Conference include:
 
- Physical exams for children from birth to six years old
- Immunizations for vaccine preventable diseases from birth to 19 years old
- Blood tests to check for anemia and lead poisoning
- Screening tests to check for speech, hearing and/or vision problems
 
All services are provided by a pediatrician and registered nurse.  The Hillsdale Child Health Conference is held on the 4th Wednesday of every month, from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, in the nurse's office at Hillsdale Borough Hall.  Appointments are necessary.  To schedule an appointment for your child, contact the Hillsdale Public Health Nurse, Marguerite Deppert, at 201-666-4800 ext. 1528.

LOCAL FOOD PANTRIES

THE HELPING HAND FOOD PANTRY services the towns of Emerson, Hillsdale, Oradell, Montvale, Washington Twp, Westwood and Woodcliff Lake.  If you are experiencing financial difficulties and live in one of those towns, they are located in the Hillsdale United Methodist Church at 349 Hillsdale Ave in Hillsdale.  They do not verify income, but do require confirmation of residency to be served.

THE TRI-BORO FOOD PANTY - Every year, the Tri-Boro Food Pantry serves over 100 families made up of over 345 children and adults. We are known throughout the Pascack Valley as a place where hungry people are fed. From soup to cereal, eggs to milk, diapers to dish soap, this food pantry is committed to helping people live. That’s why families from Ramsey, Pearl River, and Emerson come to us. But hunger isn’t something that only happens in other places. Over 90% of the families who come to the Tri-Boro food pantry are from the Tri-Boro area.
