CHILD HEALTH CONFERENCE SHARED SERVICE

The Child Health Conference provides well child services at no cost to children and adolescents who are uninsured or under-insured. Services available at the Child Health Conference include:
- Physical exams for children from birth to six years old
- Immunizations for vaccine preventable diseases from birth to 19 years old
- Blood tests to check for anemia and lead poisoning
- Screening tests to check for speech, hearing and/or vision problems
All services are provided by a pediatrician and registered nurse. The Hillsdale Child Health Conference is held on the 4th Wednesday of every month, from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, in the nurse's office at Hillsdale Borough Hall. Appointments are necessary. To schedule an appointment for your child, contact the Hillsdale Public Health Nurse, Marguerite Deppert, at 201-666-4800 ext. 1528.

LOCAL FOOD PANTRIES
THE HELPING HAND FOOD PANTRY services the towns of Emerson, Hillsdale, Oradell, Montvale, Washington Twp, Westwood and Woodcliff Lake. If you are experiencing financial difficulties and live in one of those towns, they are located in the Hillsdale United Methodist Church at 349 Hillsdale Ave in Hillsdale. They do not verify income, but do require confirmation of residency to be served.

THE TRI-BORO FOOD PANTY - Every year, the Tri-Boro Food Pantry serves over 100 families made up of over 345 children and adults. We are known throughout the Pascack Valley as a place where hungry people are fed. From soup to cereal, eggs to milk, diapers to dish soap, this food pantry is committed to helping people live. That’s why families from Ramsey, Pearl River, and Emerson come to us. Over 90% of the families who come to the Tri-Boro food pantry are from the Tri-Boro area.
