BC CALL CENTER to help seniors 75 and up schedule COVID vaccine - Available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., residents that meet the age requirements can call 201-967-4070 to try to schedule an appointment.

WALK-UPS are welcome at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center Alternate Care Facility Annex located at 230 East Ridgewood Ave., Paramus. The County / BNBMC site is for individuals who live, work or study in Bergen County. Click here for additional information. They offer all three approved COVID-19 vaccines in their Vaccination Center - no appointment required! 


3RD DOSE - The County of Bergen in partnership with Bergen New Bridge Medical Center announces that starting 8/17/21, the Bergen County Vaccination Center will begin offering third dose “boosters” of the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA COVID-19 vaccines to those who are immunocompromised in accordance with CDC guidelines. The Bergen County Vaccination Center is located on the campus of Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, 230 E Ridgewood Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652. Walk-in vaccinations are available but appointments are preferred.

To schedule an appointments for both first and third doses, please visit www.BergenCovidVaccine.com.  All vaccine recipients must show proof of age, and those ages 12-17 should be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Vaccine recipients must live, work or attend school in New Jersey.Vaccinations will be offered Tuesday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. For a full list of qualifying immunocompromising conditions, please visit the CDC website

The Bergen County Vaccination Center also continues to offer all three COVID-19 vaccines to those who have yet to receive a first dose. The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is available to anyone age 12 or older and the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccines are available to anyone age 18 or older. Bergen County health officials strongly urge all who are eligible to receive their vaccines as the beginning of school is quickly approaching. The County of Bergen and Bergen New Bridge Medical Center are also awaiting guidance regarding third “booster” shots for the general public.

VACCINE NUMBERS BY MUNICIPALITY: View the NJDOH website where anyone can access the vaccination rate. You simply need to look at the map and click on Washington Township (or whatever town you want) and click expand. It provides the percentages for both individuals that have completed one dose and individuals that have completed both doses.

FALL MOBILE TESTING DATES - 
Bergen County, in partnership with Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, has resumed COVID-19 mobile testing. The program provides regional testing and offers flu vaccinations in addition to COVID-19 saliva tests. 

Residents will be able to pre-register for their test at a Regional Community Mobile Testing site through an online portal to receive priority processing. To pre-register please visit https://www.research.net/r/BNBMCCovidMobileResidents who choose to pre-register for testing must bring their mobile device for check-in.

All fall mobile testing sites will also offer a priority testing hour from 1:30 to 2:30pm for all Bergen County public school teachers, faculty, and staff from 1:30 to 2:30pm. Please visit here for a list of all test sites and further information.

With the governor recommending masks for K-12 school children as they re-enter school in the fall, Bergen New Bridge Medical Center and other area hospitals have several dates when they are offering covid-19 shots for children. Children ages 12-17-year-olds are eligible for the shot, the Pfizer vaccine.
The first dose is scheduled for August 9 at the listed locations; the second dose is scheduled for August 30.
